Vice President

Alice McElhinney delivers a tailored client experience by drawing upon her diverse professional skills.  Clients have chosen to work with Alice because of the innovation, empathy and patience she demonstrates in developing genuine relationships built on trust. She believes the first step of implementing a financial plan is to take into consideration each client’s distinctive goals and objectives to help formulate both short-term and long-term investment strategies.

Alice began her professional career as a chemist at a specialty chemical company after receiving her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Salem State University in 1979.   She began a new professional journey by joining her husband to start a Certified Public Accounting Practice in 1991.  She returned to the classroom taking accounting and computer classes at Bentley University.   In 1995 Alice became an Enrolled Agent – America’s only federally licensed tax practitioners who specialize in taxation and also have unlimited rights to represent taxpayers before the IRS.

Alice found she was increasingly being asked about Financial Planning, Retirement Income Planning, College Funding, etc.  This led Alice to work with Baystate Financial and acquire her licenses to offer complete financial services (Series 7 registration held through Triad Advisors and Series 66 registration held with Triad Advisors and Pinnacle Private Wealth) as well as obtaining her Massachusetts life, accident & health insurance licenses.  After eight years at Baystate Financial, where Alice developed and fine-tuned her knowledge of financial and retirement planning, she left to join Pinnacle Private Wealth in 2017. The business philosophy at Pinnacle Private Wealth closely aligns with Alice’s own operating mantra of doing what is right for the clients.

Alice and her husband currently reside in Melrose, MA close to her hometown of Woburn, MA.  A loving aunt to several nieces and nephews, Alice enjoys spending time with her family when she isn’t working with clients.  On the weekends, you can often find her playing golf, tennis, or pickleball.  She is a longtime member of the North Conway Country Club in NH.
